Terms of Service
Last updated: September 1, 2026
These terms govern access to and use of the Milogi platform. By creating an account or using our services, you accept these terms in full. Read them carefully: they define, in particular, the intermediary role of Milogi and the responsibilities of each actor.
1. Definitions
"Platform" means the website and online services operated by Milogi. "Provider" means a registered professional who organizes shipments on behalf of customers. "Traveler" means a registered person who carries batches within their baggage capacity during their own travels. "Customer" means any person requesting the shipment of goods through a provider.
"Operation" means a shipment request accepted by a provider, from quote to delivery. "Batch" means a grouping of operations entrusted to a traveler for a given trip. "Drop point" means a deposit and pickup location where handovers are validated by QR-coded ticket.
2. Account and eligibility
Registration is restricted to persons aged 18 or over with the legal capacity to contract. You undertake to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Each account is personal: you are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity carried out from your account.
Providers must additionally supply truthful business information (name, activity, contact details) which may be verified before publication in the directory.
3. Milogi's role: an intermediation platform
Milogi is a technology marketplace that connects providers, travelers and customers and supplies them with coordination, monitoring and traceability tools. Milogi is neither a carrier, nor a freight forwarder, nor a customs broker, and is not a party to any transport contract concluded between users.
Milogi never takes possession of goods, does not physically inspect their contents, and guarantees neither their carriage, nor their lead times, nor their condition. Responsibility for goods in transit lies exclusively with the parties to the operation concerned, under the terms they have agreed between themselves.
4. Provider obligations
The provider undertakes to: issue accurate and honest quotes; publish truthful and verifiable business information; offer the shipment of lawful goods only; check the consistency of declared contents before assembling batches; and conduct each operation diligently, keeping the customer informed through the platform.
5. Traveler obligations
The traveler acts as an independent party. They are solely responsible for what they carry and undertake to accept only batches whose contents are fully declared and which they were able to check upon handover at the drop point.
The traveler undertakes to comply with the customs regulations of the countries of departure, transit and arrival, as well as the rules of the airlines used (allowance, items prohibited in cabin and hold). Customs declarations and any duties and taxes are their responsibility as the bearer of the goods.
6. Customer obligations and prohibited goods
The customer undertakes to declare the contents, value and nature of each entrusted item accurately, completely and honestly. Any false declaration engages their liability and results in account suspension.
The following are strictly prohibited on the platform: dangerous goods (flammable, explosive or toxic materials, non-compliant batteries), illegal goods, counterfeits, narcotics, weapons and ammunition, and any restricted goods not accompanied by the required declarations and authorizations.
7. Payments and subscriptions
Access to advanced platform features is subject to subscriptions. Subscription payments are made off-platform, using the methods communicated by Milogi (bank transfer, deposit, or other indicated means).
The financial ledger made available on the platform is a bookkeeping tool between users. It constitutes neither an escrow nor a payment service: in the current phases of the platform, Milogi does not hold, collect or transfer any funds on behalf of users. Settlements between providers, travelers and customers take place directly between them, under their sole responsibility.
8. Tickets, drop points and delivery confirmation
Each handover of goods takes place at a drop point against presentation and scan of a QR-coded ticket generated by the platform. The timestamped scan serves as proof of handover between the parties. The customer (or their recipient) confirms receipt at the final pickup; this confirmation closes the operation. Tickets are personal and must not be shared with unauthorized third parties.
9. Reviews
At the end of each operation, the parties may rate each other. Reviews must be honest, based on a genuine experience, and free of abusive language. Milogi reserves the right to remove any review that is manifestly abusive, fraudulent or unlawful.
10. Suspension and termination
Milogi may suspend or terminate an account, with immediate effect in the event of serious breach: false declaration of contents, carriage of prohibited goods, fraud, identity theft, circumvention of the platform, or endangering the safety of other users. You may close your account at any time; ongoing operations must be completed or resolved before closure.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Milogi shall not be liable for loss, damage, delay, customs seizure or harm relating to goods, nor for the failings of one user towards another. The platform is provided "as is"; Milogi does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service.
In any event, should Milogi's liability be established, it shall be limited to the amount of subscription fees actually paid by the user during the twelve months preceding the triggering event.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Algerian law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall, failing amicable resolution, fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Algiers.
13. Changes to the terms
Milogi may amend these terms to reflect changes in the service or in regulations. Users are informed of substantial changes through the platform or by e-mail. Continued use of the service after the new terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
