About Milogi

Milogi is the crowdshipping platform connecting service providers, travelers and customers to move goods where traditional logistics is slow, expensive, or simply absent.

What is crowdshipping?

Every day, thousands of travelers board planes with kilos of unused baggage allowance. At the same time, merchants and individuals wait weeks to receive goods from abroad. Crowdshipping puts these two realities face to face: the spare capacity of travelers becomes a flexible, fast, and traceable transport network.

Milogi gives this network its structure. We do not carry anything ourselves: we give service providers the tools to orchestrate shipments end to end, travelers a simple way to monetize their baggage capacity, and customers full visibility over their shipments.

Three roles, one flow

The platform revolves around three complementary actors. Each keeps its autonomy; Milogi handles the coordination.

The provider

A local logistics professional who receives customer requests, issues quotes, groups parcels into batches, and steers every operation through to delivery. The conductor of the orchestra.

The traveler

Declares their trips and available baggage capacity. Carries batches with declared, verified contents, handed over and picked up at identified drop points. Unused capacity becomes income.

The customer

A merchant or individual who requests the shipment of goods, declares their contents precisely, then tracks the shipment in real time until handover against a QR ticket.

Operation, batch, trip: how it works

Behind every shipment, a simple four-step mechanism, fully traced on the platform.

  1. 1. The operation

The customer submits a request to the provider: nature of the goods, origin, destination. The provider answers with a quote. Once accepted, the operation is open and tracked end to end.

  2. 2. The batch

The provider groups several compatible operations into a coherent batch: same corridor, same time window, contents declared and suitable for baggage transport.

  3. 3. The trip

A traveler whose trip matches takes charge of the batch. Handover happens at a drop point, against the scan of a QR ticket that timestamps every change of hands.

  4. 4. The delivery

On arrival, the batch is deposited at the destination drop point. The customer is notified, collects the goods against their ticket, and confirms receipt. The operation is closed and each party can rate the other.

Why the China ↔ Algeria corridor?

Trade between China and Algeria is massive, but the small-scale logistics carrying it remains informal: unpredictable lead times, untracked shipments, trust built over the phone. Thousands of Algerian merchants import from Guangzhou or Yiwu without ever having visibility on their parcels.

This is exactly the ground where structured crowdshipping delivers the most: frequent air links, a large diaspora and many business travelers, and enormous demand for traceability. Milogi starts on this corridor to master it in depth, before extending the model to other routes.

Trust, by design

A distributed transport network only works if trust is built into every step. That is the heart of how Milogi is designed.

Declared contents

Every item is declared before entering a batch. The traveler always knows what they are carrying, and can decline a batch whose contents they are not comfortable with.

Public tracking

Every operation has a tracking link that can be consulted without an account: the customer, the recipient, or any authorized third party sees the shipment status in real time.

QR-ticketed drop points

Handovers and pickups happen at identified drop points, against the scan of a QR ticket. Every change of hands is timestamped: no grey zone between two actors.

Verified providers

Providers publish verified business information before appearing in the public directory. Mutual ratings after each operation complete the picture.
